ITINERARIO

• DÍA 1 - Lamas City

  v

  The first day we pick you up from 3:00 p.m. to go to the folk capital of San Martín, Lamas. In the city, we will visit its main square where we will know part of its history. Later, we will go to the indigenous museum (additional 6 soles) where we will know part of the customs and traditions of the waykus, the native community of the city. If you do not want to enter the museum, alternatively you can wait in the famous "Violeta cremoladería" where you will taste its tasty ice cream specialties with natural fruits. At the end we will go to see the popular castle of Lamas, we will make a tour of its interior and discover some details that explain why this unique construction. Finally, we will visit the native Kechwa community "Wayku". There we can learn about their ancestral culture and acquire some of their traditional handicrafts in the market of the neighborhood square. Then around 6:00 p.m. We will return to Tarapoto and leave you at your hotel. End of the tour to Lamas.

• DÍA 2 - Blue Lagoon

  The second day we will pick you up at your hotel around 08:30 a.m. to go to the willow population, where the Blue Lagoon is located. During the 2 hour journey we will make 2 stops: the first one to cross the Huallaga river in a captive raft where we will transport the car; the second in the viewpoint the tip of the gallinazo, a high place from where you can see the entire green bank of the huallaga. Once we get to Sauce, we will go to its port and take a boat to navigate the lagoon for about an hour. Later we will dock the boat in the recess the spout. There you will have the opportunity to bathe in the lagoon, take a short horse ride around the lagoon and practice additional activities (not included in the price) such as kayaking, canopy and jet skiing. When we finish, we will go to lunch on the shores of the lagoon a tourist menu where you can choose between different dishes of Amazonian cuisine. After around 04:00 p.m. We will start the return to Tarapoto and around 06:00 p.m. We will be leaving you at your hotel. End of the tour to Blue Lagoon.

• DÍA 3 - High Mayo

  v

  The third day includes the longest package tour. We pick you up around 7:30 in the morning. On this tour we visited the Rioja area in the morning and Moyobamba * in the afternoon. In Rioja we will go, first of all, to know the source of the Tioyacu River. There we can take a bath and walk through the green areas of the enclosure. The second stop will be at the chuchu center, a tourist recreation where you can see an exhibition of exotic birds such as various types of toucans and macaws. Also you can also make a tasting of regional drinks (not included in the price). After that, we will go to lunch a tourist menu that includes various specialties of regional meals and in the afternoon we will go to Moyobamba to visit the orchid garden of the city. There a specialized guide will explain some peculiarities of these beautiful plants and if they wish they can buy some. Finally, we will visit the thermal baths of San mateo where they will be able to make a circuit of 1 hour of duration by the different pools of the enclosure that contain therapeutic waters at different temperatures. After that, we will start our way back to Tarapoto around 07:30 at night leaving you at your hotel. End of the tour Alto Mayo. * In season seasons the order can be altered to avoid agglomerations

• DÍA 4 - Ahuashiyacu Waterfall

  The farewell day we pick you up at your hotel from 10:00 a.m. to go to the Ahuashiyacu waterfall. Before arriving, we will make a stop at the ahuashiyacu viewpoint from where you can enjoy the mountainous and green views of the ridge ladder and take photos. Then, once we arrive at the reserve where the waterfall is located, we will take a guided walk through the interior of the reserve through an enabled path of around 15 minutes. At the end we will have arrived at the Ahuashiyacu waterfall where you can bathe if you wish and take some pictures. Afterwards, we will start our way back to Tarapoto, leaving you at your hotel again at around 01:00 p.m. End of the Ahuashiyacu tour and the classic Tarapoto tour package.
